Electricity-related injuries include:
- Electrical shock that can range from a slight tingling sensation to extreme pain
- Muscle freezing that can lead to muscle or nerve damage and potentially broken bones
- Burns that can cause tissue and nerve damage
- Bruises and/or broken bones can result from subsequent falls
- Internal bleeding, organ damage, and/or blood clots
- Respiratory arrest
- Cardiac arrest
