Promptly clean up minor spills. Know the location of the chemical spill kits in your work area and consult the SDS or container label for the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) that should be worn when containing a spill.
Dispose of waste properly.
In the event of a major spill of hazardous chemicals, follow your facility's emergency response plan. Do not attempt to clean up the spill unless you have been appropriately trained and authorized to do so.
