PPE and the OSHA Standard

The OSHA standard requires that you use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Your employer must provide and maintain the appropriate PPE for you to use in the performance of your job. This must be done free of charge.
If PPE is not disposable (eg, cloth lab coats), it cannot be brought home to launder. All PPE, including lab coats, that were used in the technical work area must be removed before leaving that area.
