Morphology: Anterior - headspace

The anterior (or cephalic) headspace of microfilariae refers to the amount of space devoid of nuclei.
In general, the relative length of the headspace may be short or long.
Short headspace: Wuchereria, Loa, Mansonella
Long headspace: Brugia, Onchocerca
