Another important part of the corrective action process is to communicate the processes and actions with management.
If the problem identification did not originate with management, it is crucial that management personnel be notified of the problem and corrective action. This communication should include the major consequences and any trends or patterns. In addition, management should also be apprised as to whether the implemented actions made substantial improvements to the quality of services and/or the QMS, or to the entire organization.
Allocation of resources in the areas where the NCE occurred should be assessed and adjusted as appropriate by management. Appropriate resources will assist with meeting customer and regulatory requirements. Management personnel is responsible for ensuring that the organizational quality objectives are continually being monitored and that NCEs are handled appropriately.
