Verification of Effectiveness

Verification is a necessary part of problem-solving. Verify that the implemented action plan does prevent the recurrence of the same NCE. Plan a mock run-through of implemented changes to verify that the expected outcome is achieved. Determine how improvement will be measured. Equally important is to demonstrate that the new action plan does not adversely affect the product/service/outcome. It is also necessary to confirm that the action plan does not fix one problem but yields new ones. If there is still potential for failure, the action plan must be reviewed and analyzed again.
