What is Linearity Verification?

Linearity refers to the relationship between the final analytical result for measurement and the concentration of the analyte being measured. This distinction is relevant because a plot of analyte concentration versus measurement signal from the instrument may not be linear in the literal sense that the relationship forms an actual straight line. Related to linearity is the concept of the analytical measurement range (AMR).
