Eye and Face Protection

The courier only needs to wear protective eyewear or use facial shields:
  • If they are performing a procedure that could result in a splash or spray to the face.
  • Any time a courier handles open specimens or chemicals, face protection should be used.
  • Protective safety eyeglasses and facial shields are made to be comfortable and optically clear.
  • Regular prescription eyeglasses are NOT considered protective eyewear.
