Epidemiology: LACV

Approximately 30–90 cases of LACV occur each year from April until October, primarily in the upper Midwest, northeastern, mid-Atlantic, and southeastern states of the US. Rare cases are seen during winter months in the Gulf States.
In 2024, there were a total of 35 cases from 7 states.
