Epidemiology: LACV

Approximately 65 cases of LACV occur each year from April until October, primarily in the mid-Atlantic and southeastern states of the US (see the graph and map attached - number and location of recent cases as reported by ArboNET/CDC). Rare cases are seen during winter months in the Gulf States.
