When donning face shields:
- Face shields will typically be ‘1 size fits all’.
- Can be disposable or reusable, depending on the face shields used and the lab-specific policy.
- Place a face shield over the face and eyes and strap it around the back of the head.
- Front piece should rest just above eyebrows.
- Should adequately cover the face from forehead to below chin areas and offer side-of-face protection by coverage.
- Adjust to fit if adjustable.
