Face Shield (Eye and Face Protection)

Face shields should be worn in addition to safety glasses or goggles whenever a splash hazard is present when working with large volumes of hazardous materials. They are often used with other PPE, such as a mask or respirator.
Face shields provide eye and mucus membrane protection and are secondary protectors intended to protect the entire face against exposure to splashes.
