Select Agents of Bioterrorism

The United States government has determined a list of select agents, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and toxins, that have the potential to severely threaten public health and safety if used in a bioterrorist attack.

This course will primarily focus on sentinel laboratory procedures used to rule out several of the bacterial organisms included in the Select Agents List and provide information regarding some of the viral and biological toxins.
