One of the easiest ways to keep your H&E slides looking good is to ensure frequent staining solution and reagent changes. Most manufacturers provide information about the number of slides that their reagents may tolerate before they must be changed. While this data is a guideline, see what makes sense for your laboratory. If changing reagents daily is a better fit, then change daily.
