Prefixes

Prefixes are added to the front of a word root to provide additional information. They help to explain or add meaning to the rest of the term.
Prefixes can be used to indicate:
  • Location
  • Color
  • Number
  • Size
  • Position
  • Time
  • Absence of something
  • Miscellaneous indicators
