Treatment - Group 1-A—Orellanine (Delayed Kidney Damage)

Emesis, lavage, catharsis, plus the administration of activated charcoal slurry maybe helpful if initiated within 24-hours following mushroom ingestion. Since renal failure is commonly observed, hemodialysis or renal transplant may be required. Even when treatment is successful recovery may take weeks or even months.
