The Nucleus of an Eosinophil

The nucleus of an eosinophil has a coarse, clumped chromatin pattern. There are two or more lobes present in the mature eosinophil; about 80% of mature eosinophils have only two lobes. The nuclear lobes are often bigger than those of a segmented neutrophil.
