Once an initial monitoring procedure has been performed, further formaldehyde monitoring is necessary:
- Every six months if the initial monitoring result equals or exceeds the action level of 0.5 ppm; or
- At least once a year (under worst conditions) if the result exceeds the STEL of 2.0 ppm.
