Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Appropriate PPE must be worn when working with formaldehyde solutions of 1% or more. Appropriate PPE includes:

Protective clothing that is impervious to formaldehyde
Gloves
Face shield
Face shield and chemical safety goggles, if there is a danger of formaldehyde reaching the area of your eyes
