Team Approach

In trying to find and determine a solution to a problem, prudence would advise using a team approach, which helps to avoid emotional thinking modes. Different people have different perspectives. The task is to take the collective perspectives of the problem plus any data collected and turn it into a discernable and to-the-point definition of the problem. Some of the tools the team should use are:
  • Review of laboratory documents
  • Interviewing staff who have knowledge of the process
  • Brainstorming
  • Mapping the process
