All workers should know the locations of the nearest:

Fire extinguishers
Fire alarm pull stations
Evacuation exits in the assigned work area
Emergency equipment, such as showers, eyewash stations, and fire blankets

A new hire should be walked through the work area and shown where all emergency equipment is located.
