Dry Ice Training Requirements

Laboratory personnel must receive proper training on the handling and use of dry ice to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Training programs should cover the properties of dry ice, associated hazards, and appropriate safety measures. Personnel should also be trained in the use of PPE, proper handling techniques, storage protocols, and disposal methods. Additionally, training should include emergency response procedures for accidents involving dry ice, such as frostbite treatment and CO2 inhalation.
