Uses of Dry Ice in Clinical and Anatomic Laboratories

In clinical and anatomic laboratories, dry ice is utilized primarily for preserving and transporting biological samples. Its ability to maintain ultra-low temperatures makes it ideal for shipping perishable items such as blood samples, vaccines, and tissue specimens. Additionally, dry ice is employed in cryo-therapy treatments and temporarily storing temperature-sensitive reagents.
