License on Probation

An individual whose license has been put on probation for violating the laws of the Board may be subject to any or all of the following requirements, as assigned by the Board:

  • Practice only under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical laboratory person
  • Be reviewed every quarter by his / her supervisor, with reports submitted to the Board
  • Submit a personal quarterly report to the Board describing the individual's progress
  • Complete additional continuing education requirements
  • Consult a psychiatrist
  • Not consume alcohol or use any controlled or illegal substances
  • Attend AA or NA meetings weekly
  • Undergo and pay for random drug testing
  • Pay an administrative fine
Failure to comply with all probation conditions will mean that the individual's license will be suspended or revoked.
