Testing Personnel Qualifications for Moderate and High Complexity Testing

Testing personnel are responsible for specimen processing and handling, test performance, and result reporting. Each testing personnel should perform only duties as authorized by the laboratory director and appropriate for the individual's training, experience, and abilities.

2. OR Possess a doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science from an accredited institution OR hold an earned doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree and meet the educational semester hours of specific coursework.
3. OR Possess an associate's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology or nursing from an accredited institution or meet the educational semester hours of specific coursework and training.
4. OR Possess a high school diploma or equivalent AND completion of official military medical laboratory procedures course and experience in a military Medical Laboratory Specialty, OR documentation of training for required skills to perform duties in the laboratory setting.
5. AND possess a current state license, if required.
