2016 WHO Classification of Lymphoid Neoplasms

Several changes in the classification of lymphoid neoplasms were made. Very briefly, the following have had changes in either diagnostic criteria, associated genetic changes, nomenclature, or other changes:
  • Follicular lymphoma
  • Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Monoclonal B Cell Lymphocytosis
  • Hairy Cell Leukemia
  • Mantle Cell Lymphoma
  • Other Lymphomas
