Generally, treatment should be directed in response to the symptoms. The inducement of emesis if it has not already occurred and the administration of lavage and activated charcoal slurry may be in order. This is particularly important if it is determined that Amanita smithiana, A. proxima, or A. pseudoporphyria was ingested.
For miscellaneous syndromes, topical steroids may be applied as well as antihistamines given for Shiitake dermatitis.
