Treatment - Group 2—Muscimol/Ibotenic Acid (Isoxazole Derivatives)

Emesis and lavage are generally unnecessary. Activated charcoal slurry should be administered only if a mixed ingestion of a more poisonous mushroom is suspected. The dispensation of atropine is not useful and may even aggravate any symptoms. Recovery is usually within 6 to 24 hours.
