CD138 Immunohistochemical (IHC) Stain

CD138 IHC stain allows for optimal appreciation of plasma cells present in the bone marrow. Plasma cells can be evaluated on the slides used to obtain the bone marrow differential count. Malignant plasma cells are present in multiple myeloma.
